Benjamin M. Sgro

Benjamin M. Sgro graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University Law School. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Ben joined the firm as an associate in 2014 prior to becoming a partner in 2022. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation. He also handles a variety of matters in business law, estate planning, and other general civil matters.

Ben will provide a consultation to better understand your situation and begin to outline a solution. He will then work closely with the client throughout the entire process, and prides himself on being accessible. Ben understands the ins and outs of all aspects of civil litigation, and is able to break down the information to the client in a relatable manner that is easy to understand.

In addition to practicing law, Ben is active in the Springfield community. He is a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Illinois Board of Directors, is a wish grantor for Make-A-Wish Illinois, and is on the Illinois Innocence Project Advisory Task Force.
